Network architecture

A solid network is at the core of any viable VoIP company. At iCall, we take our network architecture seriously.

Dallas network

We own and operate our own datacenter at our network hub in Dallas, TX.

To maintain our private peering and TDM circuits, we also maintain a presence in the Telx 2323 Bryan St. Meet Me Room in Dallas, one of the premier telecommunication hubs in the country. Located within feet of other major carriers such as Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T, we have pre-run fiber capacity in excess of 60 Gbps as well as unlimited TDM connectivity options. Our two Dallas POPs are connected via a redundant, protected fiber optic connection traversing two separate metro fiber rings.

Utilizing equipment from major vendors including Juniper routers and Cisco and HP switches, iCall maintains full network redundancy.

One of the most important telecommunications hubs in the world, 60 Hudson is home to over 100 carriers. We are a member of the New York Internet Exchange (NYIIX). A private Layer 2 backhaul connects our NYC and Dallas POPs.
